Every stage in your marketing funnel represents an opportunity to craft a specific message that aligns with your user’s life. The messages you might use for a blog subscriber generally interested in a solution will be very different to a sales qualified lead (SQL) who has already tried out your product and is considering between two alternatives. In Product Led growth, you want your product itself to lead the definition of these stages so the user is taken through their path based on how engaged they are with your solution.

One of the biggest mistakes we’ve seen B2B SaaS companies make is that they don’t build email lists. This is a huge missed opportunity to nurture potential buyers over long periods of time. After all, it can take a potential user a year or more to make up their mind. And with a blog newsletter to nurture them, to build the Know-Like-Trust (KLT) factor, you’ll be top of mind when the are finally able to pull the trigger on a purchase.

A customer will start off not even knowing about your solution. Then at the end of some kind of series of interactions and exposures, will end up a loyal customer. These are known as a user journey, buying journey, consumption map, AITA Flow, stages of awareness and in RevOps we call it Lifecycle Stages.

As a HubSpot Partner, Inturact use HubSpot’s built-in Lifecycle stages to track a user through these stages and build custom reports and lists for various campaigns, see the table below. Pair each lifecycle stage with Product Led definitions on which you can create automations, newsletters and other targeted campaigns based on stage. This is different for every product, what we have below is just an example.
